Quality of personal and household services has become one of the most important topics on the EC social Agenda. The sector covers a broad range of activities that contribute to well-being at home of families and individuals: child care, long term care for the elderly and for persons with disabilities, cleaning, remedial classes, home repairs, gardening, ICT support, etc
Aware of its importance, partners of the BESPAT project will discuss PHS in the European dimension with members of European institutions and representatives of major European networks working in the field. BESPAT (Best European Policies, Analysis and Transference in PHS) is a PROGRESS project led by CONFESAL that aims at identifying and exchanging Good Practices all over Europe regarding the policies and actions in the sector of Personal and Household Service.
Results of the BESPAT project have just been published in the "Social economy and local participatory development" series (publisher: "Sviluppo Locale Edizioni" - see annex below).
