This project was developed in order to foster strategies supporting work-life balance and a stronger involvement of men into care for family members. Its objectives were to analyse best practices of local authorities and social economy actors that promote shared care for family members and an enhanced fathers role. Moreover, the project aimed to develop new childcare/elderly care models for the local community and to elaborate guidelines for the creation and improvement of local-based services destined to support shared care. Participants worked on a European benchmark related to local strategies that foster work-life balance. Finally, best practices were experimented.
