Smaller social economy organisations have been among the pioneers of green transition processes. At the same time and for different reasons, many still reach their limits when it comes to planning and implementing comprehensive changes in various areas, including the production process, design of products and services, supply chain and partnerships. Others struggle to make their efforts and added value in an area which is increasingly targeted also by marketing of larger ‘mainstream’ enterprises better visible.
The European SKI.F.T. partnership is currently working on tools and instruments facilitating green transition processes in micro and small social economy enterprises as well as on a new offer of capacity-building possibilities for the latter.
This webinar will
- discuss concrete needs and potential regarding capacity-building for green transition with micro and small social economy enterprises as well as with social economy support organisations;
- provide an insight into first results of the SKI.F.T. project, including a methodology accompanying micro and small social economy organisations in defining transition pathways;
- present some examples of already existing tools of support for green transition within (social economy) enterprises, and
- seek to identify necessary policy action to create better framework conditions a greening of activities and products/services of small and micro social economy enterprises.
